Kevin has been a wonderful teacher for our daughter on clarinet and saxophone for the last several years! During that time, her confidence and skills on both instruments have improved dramatically, and she was able to place into the most competitive ensemble in our high school. It is a pleasure having Kevin in our home - my husband and I enjoy listening to their jam sessions, and our daughter looks forward to her lessons! Kevin seems like a part of our family - we will miss him this year as our daughter heads out to college, where she will continue with her instruments. I highly recommend Kevin!!

He is a good listener and lets my daughter choose most of the music she wants to learn. As my daughter progresses, Kevin has been able to continue to find ways to make lessons fun while challenging. As a bonus, my daughter is left-handed, and as a lefty, Kevin has been able to help her feel more confident and comfortable playing.

THE HILLBERGSKevin is an amazing music teacher. He taught my son clarinet in fifth grade then they switched to saxophone. We've continued lessons since then just to keep working with Kevin. Kevin is an amazing musician, and very patient with my son. Kevin adapts his teaching style well for the individual student. He's been teaching my son music theory and improvisation, which my son enjoys, as well as improving, basic playing and tone, or preparing for high school jazz band auditions.

He listens easily to what Sam is interested in, and uses those type of songs to learn next skills/techniques. It makes learning fun and builds up the knowledge more quickly. They talk music, play music, and enjoy the time. As the parent, I love to see the enjoyment of music. I believe that’s what makes for a lifelong musician. Priceless. Scheduling and communication are both painless!
